MOSQUITO LAKE - 2ND ANNUAL SPRING OPEN
Presented to you by the Trumball County Tourism Burea.

I am excited to announce we will be coming back to Mosquito Lake, Ohio for our season opener held on April 13, 2008. We will be launching out of the Mosquito Lake state Park.

Last year we were faced with an angry mother nature that showed us she wasn't ready to let go of the cold winter season. This year the N.E.W.C. is going to help warm up the spring in grand fashion. Actually more than a grand.

N.E.W.C. is proud to announce the following "Guaranteed" payout.

The winner of this event is guaranteed $2,500.00.

For more information visit our web site at www.neweasternwalleyecircuit.com or e-mail me at tgmeans@earthlink.net.

hope to be there tom, i remember last year, i fished in the buckeye walleye trail tournament the same day as your event last year at mosquito. Cant remember a worse day of weather to fish a tournament, hopefully we will have better weather this year. Buckeye walleye trail fishes mosquito the week prior to yours, i hope i can make it to both.

Yes, that was a terrible day to hold an event. I consulted with our teams and they all wanted to fish, same as you guys. Just goes to show that the fish will still play in the bad stuff.

This year should see a great turn out. We were able to move the event around so as not to have any conflicting dates with other circuits. We are also able to guarentee a minimum first place price of $2,500.00.

Sure wish I could fish this one. Great turn out, added prize money, there should be some very nice paydays on sunday.

Would appreciate you spreding the word with everyone. Any questions they can e-mail me at tgmeans@earthlink.net, and they can access the entry forms along with other info at www.neweasternwalleyecircuit.com

Look forward to seeing you there,
Tom

Great schedule for the NEWC. What a way to start off the year... With a minimum 1st place payout of $2,500! We are looking forward to fishing Mosquito as an opener. We plan on fishing the remainder of the circuit as well. For anyone who has never fished the NEWC, as members of NEWC as well as other tournament trails, we rank the NEWC as the best run and most fun of all that we've fished. We highly recommend that you come and fish this trail.

By the way, Tom, your partner, Sue, is a great asset at the events. She is fun, funny and dedicated to making the events successful. We wish you a wonderful 2008 season.

Team hooked for life,

Thanks alot, now I have to listen to her all weekend long as we stuff envelopes (and shovel snow for a break) on how nice and funny she is, uhg.

Actually, I wouldn't be able to do this for the anglers without her help. Thank you for recognizing her efforts, she appreciated it.

I would like to remind everyone that we are only 3 weeks away from the event.

Pre registration is greatly appreciated, and you only need to send a $50.00 deposit to hold your boat number.

We ask for this pre registration to help caculate how much food we will need. I am sure everyone can appreciate the need for a accurate number attending this event for this reason.

We will be holding late registration for those who need to pay in full for the event at the Mosquito Lake Marina from 4 - 5 pm. We will then be at the Gander Mountain in Niles from 5:30 - 7:00 pm in there lodge room.

Any questions feel free to e-mail me at tgmeans@earthlink.net .

Spent the day going around Mosquito and pymatuming delivering posters and entry forms to the Bait & tackle shops.

Lake is all open, and saw probably 50 boats all over the lake.

We watched the dnr de egg a dozen or so eyes at the state park launch, all 3 - 5 lbs. They have 18 nets out, and we caught the tail end from one of the nets at 10:00 am. Went back around the lake around 2:00 pm, and they were still hard at it.

The fish are still hard, and the lake needs to warm up a couple degrees, and the fish will be in full swing spawning.

Looks like we will be perfect for the bite to turn on for our event.
