Going up this Friday through Sunday. I MIGHT have a spot in the boat for anyone with experience that would like to go. I have had 2 guys back out on me so far. Im waiting for a call today to see if my third guy is going or not. All I ask is that you split the hotel and gas with me. Would be leaving early Friday morn (4 or 5 am) from N. Brian, I am up at my Father-in-laws at the head of the bay right now and it looks pretty frozen right now. I'm taking a ride in a bit to survey the conditions. It got pretty cold last nite. I would love to go out for a while Fri. morning and have my gear along. My wife is going with her dad tomorrow morning to stand in line at Wal-Mart so that when they open the doors they can experience the annual mob mentality shopping fiasco. I think I rather go fishing! I heard you were fortunate enough to spend time with two extremely talented FIB's last year, around mid-November, and stoked a 9.4 pounder after about an hour on the water!! Tell Brian you carry the lucky horseshoe and will find him good fortune as well.

Brian, I live in Green Bay (Go Pack!!!) and we fish up here alot. I just took a ride in to Gladstone and saw a few boats working the narrows. What a beautiful day to be out!!! Let me know if you have room Fri. I am flexible and would love to get out for a few hours. 40% chance of snow tonite here and it sounds like it could get a bit windy tomm. 15-25 WNW which isn't the worst.
FIB in the post above is the one carrying the horseshoe around with him. He failed to mention that last Nov. after they dropped me off at the ramp, they boated countless fish including 2 10+ dandies!!(a first for both fine gentlemen)

Thanks JB, same to you and yours. We are going down to Ranger Dec.6-9 and have room for 1 more if you can get the time off we can pick you up on the way. We plan on fishing Sat and Sun and going to the meeting and stuff on Mon. I'll be leaving the boat down there so this will probably be the last boat ride until you show me more secrets on the Ill. in Feb or March. We might even catch some of those Arkansas fish without teeth.
