Years ago I bought a bunch of 1/4 oz and 3/4 oz Rocker Minnows. I have been using them for years thru the ice and slabbing with the bigger version. Yesterday i caught 14 eye's on Rocker minnows slabbing at Chatfield with Eric/CO. They were hands down the best spoon all day! Does anyone know if they still make the 3/4 oz version and where I can get some? I am down to only three. You can still get the smaller versions from Thorne Bros in all the assorted colors.

I think the original owners of Jig A Whopper went under and they were the one's who produced the 3/4 oz version?

I saw on their web page (Throne Bros.) that they only carry the smaller ones but have you tried to e-mail them and ask if they have the bigger ones?
I've seen some lures by J&R(I believe) that look just like the old J-A-W Rocker minnows. Not sure about sizes. I saw these lure at Gander.

The 1/4 oz works great, but the 3/4 oz is alot easier to keep on the bottom. Eric does a good job of keeping the boat right over the fish so I was able to use the 1/4 oz alot. I got just as many strikes on the bigger version, but missed more. Silver/Green was the ticket! I was really surprized when i saw the size of the Kastmasters everyone using! They were the really small size I usually use for ice fishing!
We make a number of jigging lures & one may be the rocker.I would have to see it.If we don't we can make a mold & run them.If your interested let us know.

Neil, give those guys a call at throne Brothers and see if they can get larger sizes, Jig a Wooper I believe is gone, Redneck Tackle makes the rocker minnows now. I also saw a company in MN making "angle Eyes", the smaller ones look just like the rocker minnows, just another option. I killed the trout on Blue Friday with the 1/8 oz rockers with a meal worm on them, also caught a big old hook jaw male koke thru the ice, great morning on the ice! Any size to the eyes on Chatfield?

They were all under the slot except one. It was 3 lbs.
What part of Blue Mesa were you fishing?
