I have an alumacraft tp 185 tiller, now i have a vexilar edge front and back along with a lowrance gps unit in back. Thinking of getting the lowrance x16ci unit do you guys feel it is worth the extra money for this unit and at which spot in the boat would you put it, front or back? If i put it in back i would move my current gps up front

a friend of mine bought the x-a6 ci and has sent it back 3 times so far
just thought you might like to know before you buy and have a chance to check into it
