How has the fishing been ? How thick is the ice ???

Was up there wednesday and caught many a walleye. Not too many eaters though. Tried all colors,and depths but just couldn't bite. Seen others bring in some good fish I wasn't as fortunate. The ice was 14 inches in some spots and 20 in others. Good Luck

I was up to Wheelers Point, Baudette on Dec 8th. Our group of 3 caught about 400 W's over two days. Many were 3 - 4 lbs. It was nuts. We were up again Dec 17 & 18 and the bite was about 100 for 2 of us with only an occational 20 incher. The bite was way off from the earlier trip. Everyone around us (and there were many) was having the same luck. I wonder if the bite is slowing down to normal.

Ice is about 12 to 14 inches.

We stopped at Red on the way home and caught only 6 crappie. Slowest fishing I ever had on Red. We caught about 15 16 to 20 inch walleyes.
