Was wondering if you can get a boat on the saginaw yet? Any info would be appreciated.

The Zilwaukee launch and the Gordonville launches(on the Tib.)are open. The water is ice free, the docks are not in. At your own peril !

Like ND said, the Saginaw seems to have cleaned itself for the most part, at least in the lower stretch from Saginaws Gray Iron Plant to Bay City. Went across it last night in Bay City near Vets park on the way to the wifes Christmas party. Very little ice along the edges. Also gotta believe the DNR ramp at the mouth has to be open as well. And with this 35 MPH SW wind today, floating ice wouldn't be a problem on the Bay proper. She'll be back soon enough though, with the teens predicted all next week as the lows.

Thanks for that report Dan and 10-4 on that wind. Thats why I didn't go today. Hoping it will be better tommorow, also hoping she don't look like chocolate milk when I get there.
