I dont know about 100MPH but my guidewear is by far the best rain gear I have ever owned. Expensive, but IMHO worth it.

I purchased the 100 mph this past Feb. and could not be happier with it's performance. I am not a pro, just a weekend warrior. I have been able to use less layers in early spring on the DR and into November fishing eyes at night. It is extremely dry and keeps the wind out too.
But like the guidewear, it does not come cheap. Still the best investment for my fishing in a long time. When my buds are whining of wetness and cold, I am comfy as can be.

I have both the Guidewear and the 100mph suit. Both are top quality rain suits. I would be hard pressed to say that one is better than the other in keeping me dry. The reason I wear my Guidewear 100% of the time now, is because of the fit. My 100mph suit has the parka and the Guidewear has the jacket. I like the jacket's fit better than the parka. The parka seems to get in the way, because of it's length. The Guidewear bibs also have elastic in the waste, where the 100mph bibs do not. Does this make them better? Probably not. But, it does make them "feel better" when you have to walk in them. The 100mph suit just hung on me, whereas, the Guidewear feels like it was taylored for me.
This is only a personal preference of course.

You would be happy with either suit. Both will do the job they are intended for. I only suggest you try both suits on to see which one you would be more comfortable in, and make your decision from there.

Juls,

We all appreciate your comments about better fit.

I'm sure that the elastic in the waste feels and looks like it was taylored for you which is a good thing. But remember that most of us have beer bellies and don't look as well as you in tailored "anything". We're better off with the "loose fit" look. ;-)

Thanks for reminding us Dennis. I have used the 100mph for the season and thought it was great for staying dry and the wind does not get thru. I am now looking at a Cabelas jacket that has a zip in fleece liner for cold weather. If you have both stores near by look at them carefully.
