Thanks to all who replied on lures to use...fishing in wild rice for the most part...some on top and other plants at various depths...any addtional info will be appreciated..

Any ideas as to why some days Northerns real shallow and others out in the middle of the bays???? Assume it has something to do with sunlight and/or time of day...had trouble with patterning them. Also do larger fish tend to stay deeper????
