I need some help. I'm selling my boat and I want to pull the
way points off my unit befor I sell it.
I never set up map create on my P.C.with the M.M.C. interface.
(I use hotspot lake maps by navionics.)
The question is. Can I hook up my X-15 to my computer and pull the way points I want off the unit and on to my computer and then back onto my new units?

The manual didn't tell me alot about getting the unit conected to my computer or its functions.

One other question. When I'm running the unit with hotspot maps the unit would not allow me to run in the track up mode it was always in north up which can get a little confusing at times.
Has Lowrance made changes to this function?
Does the global map track up with hotspot maps?

You need to save your data to a MMC card. Load a MMC card into your X-15 unit.

1. Press MENU key twice
2. Select "SYSTEM SETUP"
3. Select "TRANSFER MY DATA" Check all the data you want to save
4. Select "SAVE DATA" Data is now saved to the MMC (To transfer data from the MMC to the unit you would choose "LOAD DATA"- you will do this when you get your new X unit)

Load the MMC into your card reader. Select the data file under "FILES STORED ON CARD" and save it by using "FILE" and "SAVE" in the program menu.

Check your software version. Lowrance's latest update is version 2.5 and it's a free download available on their website. Good Luck, Jim Carroll #588

Jim did you know anything about that tracking I mentioned.

Do you use the map create? Do you find it to be usefull?
