Just curious how much lighter is the lead in the 15lb test as compared to the common 18 lb test. Any body use the 15 if so how many colors to get down to 20 ft. at a speed of 1.5 mph. thx

Pound test has nothing to do with the weight of the lead line. It is the tensil strength of the braid on the sheath of the line. 15lb. and 18lb. will obtain the same depth. Rule of thumb 5 feet per color.

what is the story on the non-lead core trolling line
