I have purchased the new Lakemaster cd disks at a recent show and was hoping to transfer this data up to my 350a such as waypoints and routes. I was told that you could rig up a cable to do this...does anyone know? Thanks.

I can hook you up with the information for an NEMA interface between the 350A and your PC via a serial port. The rest is up to you.

Thanks for your reply but in the mean time I called lowrance and they told me that waypoints can only be manually put in and not through any computer interface. The units after it are able to do it thou.

Thanks again,

That is not the case, unless there are unit is without the NEMA interface. Mine is pretty old, it has it. Lowrance used to have a program that can do it.Look in your instruction manual, it should show the green and white wires from the connector on the 350A connector going to an NEMA interface. All you have to do is make up a cable that uses a DB9 serial port connector, there are 2 wires that go from your computer to the NEMA interface on your Lowrance to the computer, 1 ground wire and power for the Lowrance. Im not dreaming this stuff up. The program is called WS-1. You used to be able to get free off the Lowrance website a few years ago.

Im just trying to help you out.
