Who trolls spoons in MN?

All this spoon talk has got me wondering. Does anybody troll spoons with success in northern MN? I troll spoons for Lake Trout in walleye waters and have never "accidentaly" caught any walleyes. I would think a flashy spoon could do some damage at night? Any insights? I have caught a lot of fish on jigging spoons, should I try trolling with them?

I 'm working on a system for catching suspended 'eyes with riggers , pro-king salmon type spoons etc, It's working, but I haven't figured out enough of the pattern to write about it yet.

Something is fishy around here.
