Anyone have some pics or blueprints of their Fish Trap ice shack (one person shack) with the PVC rod holders mounted on it? I've asked the Ice Team if they had some kind of diagram they could send me but they never did. I hope you guys know what kind of system Im talking about. It's the system Dave Genz (along with a bunch of other guys) uses to store his ice rods. Thanks in advance.

Check in with Dave's web site.
Shoot him an e-mail and see if he has an illustration.
Inside a trap the Berkley tube style rod rack holders bolt on and work very well.

I got one side done. Its very simple. I will shoot you an email.
The Berkley racks work good, but I was after something that would protect the tip of the rod from stuff moving around in the trap.

Don't have the rod storage in yet but I have a piece of 30" plastic gutter dowm the 1 side ,a shelf in the back and my favorite is the rod holders I made. They r 6" long pieces of 1" PVC the 1 end is cut on a 45degree angle the other end has a slot cut down the middle paralel to the pipe .It slides rite over the C chanel that supports the framework works great. Mostly fish 4 panfish so my rod butts r smaller. Good Luck Jim C.

Sounds cool, Jim. I am working on the gutter shelf right now. I can send you a pic of the rod tubes if you want.
I like the holder idea.
