View Full Version : Renosky dive curves
Is there anywhere I can find the dive curves for the Renosky Deep Divers?? I picked up a few to try and I would like to know how deep they run. I tried out the glow feature of them and they really look cool in the dark. Anybody with personal exerience on them, the water is hard here in WI. so I can't test them yet. Do they compare to something else in the 6th P. Trolling book???
Thanks,
RKG

Gary Gray posted some dive curves here, and I can't find my copy! I'll keep looking, maybe Gary will repost them.

Gilligan:
Thanks for the heads up, and thanks for digging up the archive for us.
One thing to keep in mind, is that for some odd reason, when trolled at slightly faster speeds, than what I did the test,( 1.2-1.5 mph) the 5" deep diver runs a little deeper. Usually, lures run shallower, when speed is increased. This is true with the 3".
Also, I ran the 5" as fast as 5 mph, and could not make it tumble. This lure runs amazingly true to line of track, and I never had to tune one. If anyone running these, when the water opens, finds some more unique features, please drop me or Renosky's a line, as we are always open to critisim.
Another footnote, as we speak, Joe is doing a special color for Fleet Farm, it will look similar to the Rosemary color. I think this will be a hit. It will be done only in the Crystalina finish, not the FireGlow.
Hope this helps,
Thanks to you to for piping in the info. I can't wait to run these new ones to see how they do. We'll be out to Erie that last Friday of the PWT,we're going to try to make it to the weigh-in. Hope to get a chance to meet you then Gary. Good Luck

Hopefully, I will have a reason to be at the final weigh-in, I mean to collect a good check, that is. Make sure you stop over to see me, and If I have any good spots, or good colors they are hitting on, I can share that with you.
See you there,
Thanks Gary, I'll take you up on that offer,we only get out to Erie once a year and it would be a huge help to get current info from you. It's pro's like you who make the walleye circuts so much fun to go to.
