If you can make it....do so! I went last year, and had a great time. It was not only entertaining, but very informative (good food too..;-)). The best 90 bucks I ever spent...;-)
I would go again this year, but unfortunately I won't have the time this spring. Dang!
I'm already putting it on the calendar for next year!

What is it? Where is it held? What are the topics?
This is the first time I have heard of it.

beach...well worth every nickel. Plenty of oportunity to talk to others, get advice and just meet other fanatical walleye fisherman. A full day of tremendous fishing exchange and ideas. Outstanding Guest Speakers and subject matter experts. Good Luck! mike
It is definitely worth it. I went in 1998 and in 2000. Unfortunately I am too busy to attend this year. Both times I had fun and learned a lot.

This year's Institute is shaping up to be another great one! There are just a few seats left, so get your tuition soon.
Mike Gofron, this year's PWT Champ, will be covering a variety of techniques, jigging, trolling, bottom bouncers, and when/where to use what type line. Ever wonder when to use a superline vs. mono. Little tricks to get the most out of your gear.
Mark Brumbaugh is one of the top walleye trollers on the circuit. He'll be showing everyone how he pulls big hawgs from Lake Erie, the walleye capital of the world!
Scott Golden will be talking about western reservoir walleyes and how you can get the most out of the Internet. Scott's the father of this website.
Mike Norris will be covering river fishing for walleyes. 3 ways, vertical jigging, trolling cranks....everything you need to know to catch fish in current.
Finally, I'll be talking about jigs. Everything and Anything you want to know.
Hope to see you guys there! Should be a lot of fun.
