i use the Ande's line on Lake Michigan when fishing the salmon and trout. we have been using the 25# line for years when reeling in the big kings. tough as nails. less memory than many other heavy mono lines. i have not used the light ande's line for walleyes.

Use the heavy stuff on Lake MI also . Good tough line . Use the 2# for bluegills on inland lakes . Very good also .

I've been using Ande's for years. I use the 20 lb test clear premium (not the tournament) for great lakes deep water trolling. It's good line for the money. Can't remember ever having break on me. Has more stretch than fireline for sure, but I can't afford to spool 10 reels with 300 yards of 20 lb fireline, then toss a couple hundred yards over the course of a month due to tangle ups. I'll be ordering a couple pounds of it sometime within the next couple weeks.

Good luck.

I've been using 12 lb on my Daiwa 27s for 4-5 years now. Seems to be as good as any other line that i have used. Pull cranks, rigs, harnesses, no problem. I won't hesitate to buy more.

I like the stuff, however, I would recommend the Premium over the Tournament. I use 6# stuff for tossing cranks, jigging, and general walleye/smallmouth use, and 10-12# for mainline salmon/steelhead fishing. It is somewhat similar to Maxima Ultragreen, but not quite as stiff, also has quite a bit more stretch than the Ultragreen. For the price of a 1/4 pound spool, can't beat it, though it can be tough to find sometimes.
