Can anyone give me advice on which model to buy the 1200 or 2200 or 2250? I would really appreciate your help. One guy told me the 1200 was junk but I want it to use for Canada trip.

I have a portable for sale. The garmin fishfinder 100, bought new last june. I am asking $150.

some great ice fishing models will also serve as a portable unit on your boat...the zircon or vexilar..i'd check them out...steve...much better on ice if you ice fish in the future vs regular portables
