I know that there are alot of high dollar boots that do a great job, but I have a question about a boot that I saw on clearance and was wondering if they would do a good job.
It is an "Itasca" boot, but not really a "pac" boot. It was made for winter hunting. It says it has 1000 deneir cordura and 800 grams thinsulate. Seems to have a thick rubber sole to keep me off the ice, and its big enough for good socks. The boot was $50. To me it looks like the kind of camo boot I wear turkey hunting with more thinsulate.

Does anyone know about this boot maker and do you think it will keep my feet warm?

Thanks for any help.

You must be talking about the boots @ the show in CB this weekend?
I saw the boots but didn't pay that much attention to them. If they are waterproof then they would work ok. I bought a pair of Irish Setters (close outs) @ the St Paul Ice fishing show for $50, they have 1000 grams of thinsolate & they are the best ice fishing boots I've used.

For ice fishing, dont get any brand that doesnt have at least 1000 grams of insulation. cold feet and ice fishing dont go hand in hand. good luck and good fishin.
