Thanks, that reminds me....
I have a room reserved at three places that I no longer need...
McQuoid's Resort: Two queen beds, mini kitchen...reserved for the 12th-19th....$459.00 and a boat slip is reserved for an extra $60.00 for the week. Total cost: $519.00
Twin Pines: One double bed, one roll away twin bed. 12th-19th $447.00 (will be a little cheaper if you don't have a dog..;-))
Flagship: two double beds, no bath. The bathrooms and showers are across the parking lot. $250.00 for the week.
If anyone wants any of these reservations, just email me at juls@walleyecentral.com, and I'll be happy to make the calls and change the names and info the reservations will be under.
I'll be calling them soon to take them out of my name, so hurry if you need a room and these fit your budget.
Thanks!

Just curious.....are you guys/gals bailing out of the MWC Mille Lacs due to the likly 14-16 inch slot?

Heck NO!!!!!!!!!!! I just didn't know who my partner was going to be for the Mille Lacs event, and made the 3 different reservations since I didn't know what that person's comfort level would be. Turns out, I am fishing that event with Steve Fellegy, who lives there, and he invited me to stay at his place.
Just thought I would see if anyone from WC needed a place up there before I called to cancel them.

We're not bailing out we just decided to camp instead so I'll be cancelling the rooms if now one is interested. They are at Pat's motel formerly Ozzy's, about $45.00 per night.

Geez, Juls
Too bad you couldn't partner up with someone who has actually fished the lake before :)
See you there

so i slaved all day cleanin' the bathroom...think it'll be okay 103 days from now? you bring the vacuum...that's where i draw the line!
so what if you used to be a competitive swimmer and i can't swim?
well...okay...you can bring the "bleepin' beepin'" watch if you promise to catch a 28"er.
