Since I only had 6 options I selected states that were on large bodies of walleye waters. I guess that explains all but Illinois.

Oh well. We people from Wisconsin have been trying to figure out those from Illinois for a long time.

Sib, practically no one has ever heard of Alaska, Michigan But my wife spent her first nine years there in a farmhouse on Whitneyville Rd. Her father is buried in a cemetary there. She is now an adopted Hoosier, living in NW Indiana with me these past 25 years. She also spent the rest of her youth living east of Kalkaska. That is where I met her. I spend much time each summer up in that area, mostly for the fishing. But, I know where there are a few 'eyes in this state too. Shhh...

I knew someone has heard of that place, LOL. No kidding, I live on Whitneyville! Ice has been bad here, so I couldn't take it anymore this weekend and waded the Thornapple right in town(at the park), on Saturday. Just wanted to bounce a jig a little.

My wife and I live just south of 76th. Alot of the old farmers have sold out to developers, but still has the country feel. My wife is from Traverse City, not to far from Kalkaska. I am originally from Comstock Park, about 15 miles north of Alaska. We moved to Alask 7 years ago. We love it there, still quiet and plenty of wildlife to entertain us.

If it's the cemetary just south of 52nd street, across from the church, I know exactly where that is. They're putting a new stone fence up front. Always was a well kept cemetary, now it will look even better.

Great to hear from someone who knows an Alaskan.
