Do they work on a harness for Walleyes? Best color? Use just like the real thing? I've got some I've hauled around for a year and they will either catch fish or the garbage can. Thanks

2 hook rig usually natural, pumkinseed, sometimes bubblegum or white depending where i am fishing...
great for water's with lots of pesky perch...just pull it away and keep on fishing....

While not on walleyes, your question reminded me of a conversation I had a while back with a friend who was a Camp Fish instructor. He said that when they first received PowerBait, they were a bit skeptacle, but he said they were the best thing for teaching new bass guys how to worm fish. Rob said that he would be watching their lines and it would be moving sideways and Rob's telling them to "set the hook," and the fish hardly ever dropped the bait. Made a believer out of me.
I have heard, though, that people were catching eyes on lindy rigged power worms on Mille Lacs last year. I haven't tried it, but I will down the road sometime.

I have caught a ton of eyes on the berkley power baits, I keep about 5 flavors in my box with neon red and chartruse being my favorite.

They work very well on bottom bouncer rigs as well as pitching or vertical jigging. We are teaching the use of plastics for walleye at the Ontario fishing camp I am affiliated with. Finesse style worms (those with a smaller diameer) are excellent in four and five inch sizes. Good brands include Bass Pro Shops, Exude, Berkley, Zoom, etc. Expect the usual colors to work - pumpkinseed, motor oil, natural, black, etc. Prefer those with a curly tail, rather than straight. Also, we have discovered that walleye relating to deep weedlines love 3-inch tubes...same colors! It's great to catch them with plastics!

Won a walleye tournament pulling spinner rigs and six-inch Berkley Power Crawlers. Second place in another tournament. At times, power crawlers will out perform natural bait, no question. We used them to get away from the perch and other baitfish that kept stripping our crawlers. Once we did we seldom had to re-bait, the average walleye size was bigger and there was less cleanup at the end of the day. Keep your power crawlers.
