I was just wondering how many of you made it to the Walleye Expo at Canteberry last weekend and what you thought of it. I fiqured there would be a bit more traffic at the show. I had a great weekend and really enjoyed the time there.
i was there and as usual was impressed with how 'tuned' in this crowd is to the show theme, which of course is walleyes. it's always great to visit with all the people you see from year to year at the same show.
on behalf of the npaa, thanks to everyone for attending the walleye expo's this year. see ya on the water!

I too thought it was a good time. I like the fact that I can get information or purchase items as I need. I liked the fact that it was not to big so that I could bring the kids and they did not get tired out. I liked the dart game the kids had fun there. All three of them won something at the kids coloring contest on Sunday. Heck the 6 year old daughter won a hand auger. I didn't make it to any seminars, but still enjoyed what was there. Byt he way S.F. #49, Carrie & I enjoyed talking to you at the NPAA booth.

I enjoyed the show and won't miss it in the future. It really was centered on walleye fishing yet it had a nice mix of displays.

I just worked the show Saturday. There was a steady flow of traffic
until evening. The thing that was the #1 greatest part. Lot's of youngsters. I had 9 - 14 year olds asking specifics about refining a tactic. You heard me right refining not trying. Even though I am nobody special the kids enjoyed the authographs on the Clemments Fishing Barge newspaper. I also had some time to spend with a friend and sponsor Mark Clennents from Taylor Tackle,(I was working his booth). I also enjoyed seeing a lot of familiar faces , and connecting faces with handles, Perchjerker for example. All in all worth the 180 mile drive. Lawrence

First rate as always. You can almost smell the fish when you walk in! Great information on new products and tactics. The seminars leave a little to be desired. I was only there Friday and I sat through two seminars. The second speaker totally refuted what the first speaker had said. It's like reading two fishing articles that contradict each other. Oh well, nothing is perfect. All and all it is a great time every year.

I had a booth at the walleye expo and enjoyed great traffic and sales. Thanks to all who came. I had the Finnovations booth and was showing a new efficiant and economical way to store snells and spinner rigs. For those who saw it -- what did you think?? How can I refine it?? Let me know -- email me at zgerryz@means.net.

Nifty little invention, priced right. Bought one and loaded it up with spinners.
Kinda falls into that "Why didn't I think of that" catagory.
Good luck on your marketing effort. Hope to see them in stores soon.

I completely agree. It was nice to see how everyone there was in tune with the walleye fishing industry. I had a booth there, Phelps Tackle, and it was great to talk to simply very nice, down to earth anglers. Women,Men, and Kids alike. I want to thank everyone who stopped by our booth. See you next year, or before.
