Was thinking about fishing the World Walleye Wisconsin/Illinois division this year. Anyone else fishing this? I see the turnout last year wasn't that great, but thought it might improve with the fall of the USFA. I heard it was well run.

Yes, the World Walleye Association is a very well run tournament. I fish the wisconsin/up division but have friends that fish the wisconsin/ill. division. You are also correct about the turnout, last year was the first year for that division and with the fall of usfa, turnout should be much better than last year. If you have any other questions feel free to ask me!
i would definately recommend fishing wwa. this cicuit is managed by tournament fishermen themselves. have fun and good luck!

I fished one tournament with WWA (Wis/UP) in 2001. It was pretty well run. I wish I would have fished the whole circuit but I did USFA instead. I will probably be fishing the entire circuit Wis/UP this year though. I would recommend WWA if you are interested.

I too fished the USFA last year and am thinking of doing the WWA/UP this year. I have heard good things about the WWA, the guys I talked to that that fished the USFA last year are splitting between the WWA and the Midwest Walleye Series(MWA). I just might fish the MWA at Petenwell and the whole WWA circuit.

Craig--Good to finally hear from you. I emailed you about a month ago and I did not get a response back. No, Dad will not be fishing tournaments with me this year. Although he will be every other time. Email me at C20947@email.mot.com.

Scooter thats a shame you won't be able to fish all.Have you considered a sub? Yes (TO THE ORIGINAL QUESTION) the wisconsin divisions split in two divisions last year so things should do better this year for the WI/IL division .Everyone has their preference on what bodies of waters to fish, most favored the choices of the WI/UP side.

I am open to totaly finding a new partner all together, how ever it is tough as anybody who has had to do it knows.I am working at it and I am open to subs if that is what it would take to fish the circuit. And to set things straight its mostly me that the subs wouldnt like!:7
