Illinois boat registration

I have submitted my application to regester my boat in Illinois. They told me that I would receive my registration and sticker within 6 to 8 weeks. Others have told me not to hold my breath as I may not see anything for several months. Have any of you Illinois boat owners experienced any problems with our cracked crew down in in Springfield?

Ya, mine took forever, but it doesn't matter as long as you carry the registration sheet stating you applied for the numbers.

mine tok 4 to 5 months. I had michigan numbers on it already so did not worry. I would not worry about either way though. just apply.
