I'm going to be on a guided boat (Lake Erie out of Marblehead)June 29-30. From what I'm being told we will be casting Erie Dearies,Gold Nuggets, Pygmies, and Crooked Eye. I have never seen these baits in Kansas. I assume we will be on the reefs??? Can someone tell me where I can look at these baits on a web site? Also can a guy jig spoons on most of these reefs and be successful?
Not many people I know fish the reefs at that time of year. Although they can produce in the summer under certain unusual conditions. By the sounds of those lures you'll probably be casting for suspended fish somewhere in the western basin. Can't help you with any pictures, but those are mostly "weight forward" cast/drift rigs.

you,ll be fishing the mud flats or down east of marblehead around vermillon. check out eriedearie.com. that time of year though if your worm fishing, better go to a store and buy some may fly rigs!!!!!
every charter boat captian in port clinton will have them tied on there pole for themself and for the clients!!!!!!!!!!!!!
