Thinking of mounting my fl18 on the electric trolling motor.
Any body have good or bad thoughts on this?

I purchased a MK 65 60 with transducer and installed my FL-18 on a Ram Mount. Been out 3 times and so far I am glad I am using it up frony

I just did it. Had a lot of problems with noise. But it is all solved now. If you have any issues, e mail Vex with your problem. They will respond and assist wherever they can. One of the best supports on a product I have ever had.
Once on, you will love it. I just launched and between getting the Fl to work right and trying the transmitter on my minkota troller, I was is fish boat heaven. Hope to try it this weekend on Erie.
