Here's a not-so-subtle reminder of the chat tonight on WC...7:00...hosted by Fishing Hot Spots. Have you mapping questions, digital mapping questions, GPS questions, etc., all ready and we'll try to get through them. See you tonight!

I can't make the Chat tonite but I have question. Why don't you work on a North Dakota package? We have to go to ND at least twice a year on the PWT and have also been there with the RCL and you don't offer any maps for ND. What's up?:9

Howdy Slipknot,

Mike talked a bit about where they are working on maps. Read the chat when it gets archived. And I am sure Mike will respond here as well.

Have fun............R

You're right Chat, never miss an opportunity...

Slipknot, ND is on the list along with SD. There are fine waters out there and it's always one of those "marketing" decisions. We can sell more of Winnebago or Green Bay by updating those, than a lake out in the Dakotas.

But, we know there's tourney pressure and lively waters, so trust me, we'll get there. Maybe not with a paper product first, but digitally for sure to stick into your GPS!

And Denny...hey, it's been a while! A lot has happened since those early days! I'll for sure drop you a note or call.

Thanks again to all who visited last night...and Ralph, did you ever find out how we all got nuked?

I had a message on my screen that said I had been disconnected because I was inactive for 20 minutes. I don't have a gps in my boat or use one in my partners boat so I was just monitoring the Chat. When I got dumped I was a little miffed, thinking this was a new Walleye Central protocal added to the Chat site. If this is Standard Operating Procedure, it needs to be changed. We should be encouraging people to join the Chats so they can all learn something. Not everyone has questions or can ask them at the same time. 20 minutes into the Chat we were still going pretty good and had 24 users. If we're letting the guest answer questions and rebuttals from the questioner, twenty minutes flys by. Scott, is this normal for someone to get disconnected after 20 minutes?

Hiya ST,

I am calling Scott to see if this is part of the new protocal, and if we can change it.

part of the problem in the cyber world is providers suppliers etc can just e mail or call you and say, "Oh by the way, we changed/upgraded/altered/increased your fee/are going out of business/sold our contact lists, etc.

Makes things a lot of fun.

If I do not reply soon, e mail scott@walleyecentral.com

Have fun..............R

Thanks for the response Chatman. I was more concerned that after I saw everyone had been nuked that maybe I could tell you what I saw on my end. If you have contacted Scott, then I'm satisfied. Just thought he would like a heads up. I was wondering why everyone else above me on the chat listings was getting shuffled out. It was strange to see that many people coming and going because of the BOOT. Always have a couple but that was terrible. Hopefully it's an easy fix for you guys with the server people. No response needed. Maybe Scott or yourself can post an update when you get a better explanation or remedy. Thanks.

Howdy ST,

The big boot in the middle of the chat was a fairly uncommon, yet not unheard of, occurance. The server ocasionally, for no real reason, just freezez up and starts booting people.

It used to happen much more often with the old servers, back in the day.......LOL!

Have fun.......R
