Here is an example of great customer service! I recently noticed a defect in my GPS Map76 that is about 1 1/2 years old. The warranty expired six months ago and figured it would probably cost about $100 or so to fix. I called Garmin and they told me to send it in and they will fix it under warranty. They overnighted the unit back to me free of charge and I got the unit back in exactly one week.

Bought a Blue Chart CD in March. Registered it and was told that there was a new version (5.0) coming out. Garmin sent me the new one Free since I had bought the older 4.2 version within months of the release date of the newer one. Outstanding service

I have used Garmin cust. sevice a couple of times, once for a cracked plug and also a warrenty upgrade on a older unit. Outstanding customer service, very quick.
