Planer Board Mast

I want to build a planer board mast. Where do I find reels that will handle 200# mono??

You can find manual & power reels at this site. Just out of curiosity why are you using 200# Mono? 135# or 150# planer board tow cord will take the abuse better and it won't stretch as much.

I believe the regular colored planner board cord you buy in the catelogs are #80 or #90 test. Pleanty of test strength for all applications.

Both Cannon And Big Jon sell board reels by themselves. Check and see which will work for your situation

I've heard that weed wacker line works great for planer line.
