Just read on MWC website that theyre up to 192 teams for they Spring Valley tournament.I guess that answered the question about the higher entry having an effect on the turn out.Said they hope to have the roaster up ny tommorow, but boat numbers wont be assigned until two weeks before the tourn, except for the early birds.Cant wait till the end of March, see yall there.P.J.

Prchjerker, you are so right! We're already getting ready for Spring Valley. Can't wait to see some of the old timers and some new faces. There's guys from New York and Pennslyvania that signed-up to fish all of the tournaments. Man, $25,000 for first place. Can't wait to see Kaz in action again and I heard Bev is coming too.

PJ - that roster is historically fill to the brim on the first day and the wait list is a mile deep!! the new format put the event out of reach for some - but many teams have either moved onto other tours or burned out on tourney fishing - what do you think? There has been a decent bite down there this winter in the deep hole. But things have started to change with destabalized weather. Be ready for another year of small fish. There are zillions of those little tykes like a few years ago. Little minnows snatchers. Don't get me wrong - there are some pigs down there still when they go. And a lot of 16 to 18 inchers too - should be a great tourney again! good luck to all
