I have a Sno Boat with a couple of cracks in the sled. Does anyone have any experience with repairing these sleds?

My suggestion is to return the sled to the manufacturer. My guess is that they would either replace the sled at no cost - or at a very much reduced cost.

The problem with any repair on these style sleds is that they are basically injected molded plastic. There is almost nothing that will stick to them.

About the only reasonable fix, that you might try - if you are concened about the structural strength is some sort of mechanical patch. By that I maean another piece of similar plastic - that you "Mechanically fasten across the crack with nuts and bolts or rivets. I would doubt very much that you would be able to get any kind of adhesive to stick long term and not crack again.

I would expect that the manufacturer would be anxious to get the sled back, so that they could do an analysis on it and find if there has been a defect in their molding process. By their very nature - they really shouldn't crack - irrespective of the amount of stress that they get.

Take care

If by chance they don't want to fix it at a reasonable cost try some shoe goo on the inside only. It will not take the abrasion on the bottom but will stick and hold to anything.
My son and his friends do the skateboard thing and it tears up shoes soles in a bad way and they build them back up with it and it holds well.
