Hello Everyone,
I know that up north the Missouri River is a great place to catch big eyes. I live in Kansas City, Missouri where the Missouri River is just a couple of miles away and have a question. Just how far down the river do the eyes roam? I have always wondered this after reading and seeing shows about the fishing on the Missouri up north, but have never known just how far down south the come. Anybody have an answer to this?
Thank you in advance........Jeremy

Jeremy, I live in Omaha and I know a few walleye and sauger are caught in late fall throught late winter from Blair north to Sioux City. Wing dams and creek mouth areas are the most productive spots. I'm sure there is a small population of eyes from Omaha on south, but probably not enough to make it worth your time. I think the water quality deteriorates from Blair on south. If your interested in giving it a try, check with your local bait shops as there could always be a few secret holes that hold better numbers.
