I am new to building Crawler harnesses and was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on building them. Have built a few and have had a bait shop guy tell me I'm doing good. Thanks

Best advice.....be creative! There is no pattern that won't get something at a given time. Try single blades, double blades, no blades, willow blades, big beads, small beads, etc......you get the point. One harness will get you a limit one day, then nothing for rest of the year. Gotta have an arsenal and be willing to change often.

Ps: Use 20# nylon-coated, braided leader material instead of mono. Holds the knot so much better and they last 10X longer.

Don't ever get them stuck in a tree and plan to get them out either.
