Maxima Perfexion

Is anyone currently using the Maxima Perfection line? I just bought some Spiderwire Super Mono XXX 14# and the Cabela's catalog shows that the Perfection 15# has the same diameter the XXX 14#.
Right now I am currently using Spiderwire Super Mono XXX on all my reels. I'm using the 8# since the dia. is the same as most 6#. I was just wondering if the Perfection has the same or smaller diameter and especially how does this stuff hold up?

I spooled maxima perfexion onto two spinning reels when it came out probably about 2 years ago now. I replaced it after my first time out using it. It was not very abrasion resistent and broke off way to quickly. I was using 10 lb test jigging in
the river. I now us Sensithin/Sensation and have been pleased. Jack
