I just got back from a drive to Dunkirk (3hrs each way). They called the day off at 1:00 due to storms. Walleye Central guys are doing rather well. Jigging5 and his partner are in first place, Sluggo and partner in 2nd and Gilligan and partner are in 3rd. Drewfish had large fish of the day. Way to go guys, keep it up.

Charlie and Tim made the right call to cancell today. The tournament was cancelled at 11.00 am, and teams that made it back by 1.00 pm were allowed to weigh there fish, if you arrived after that you were not allowed to wiegh in. We made it in at 2.30, and was told we were not allowed to weigh fish, but i told charlie it doesn,t matter because it was the right call to cancell, and saftey is the only important thing. I will admit that i was quite suprised when i saw that there were weights on the score board, since the day was called at 11.00 am, and the tournament hours were to be back by 3.30 pm.I thought that it would be a 1 day shoot out, now it is a 3 or 4 team show max.
When we left at 3.00 pm we were told that there was still two boats not accounted for TOM M.

Tom, thanks for the update. When I left there were about 7 boats unaccounted for. Hopefully they all got back safely.

The tournament was called at 11:35. That was half a day and fish will be weighed.

Dunkirk, you said it was 11.35 am, it might have been, i don,t know for sure, all i know is when i arrived at the dock at 2.30, charlie came right up to me and he told me that he called it at 11.00 am ! I have know reason to doubt him since he is the tournament director, along with tim. It doesn,t really matter what time it was called as far as i am concerned because the tournament is over and every one is safe, that is the only thing that counts as far as i am concerned. I hope every body enjoyed themselves and i look forward to seeing most of you at the kinzua tournament this weekend.
Did you fish the tourney, how did you make out, just wondering since i dont know who you are since you signed it dunkirk. TOM M.

Tom,
The coast guard told Charlie & Tim to get the boats off the water. The first call was broadcast at 11:35. Some of the first anglers in heard it at that time.

It doesn't matter who says 11:00 or 11:35.The offical end of the tourny was the call of the small craft adv. by the coast guard. What the time of that call was I don't know

Tom,
I would like to but I need some time with the wife and dog. and I also need to work on the firewood situation. Winter is on it's way. I do hope it turns out well for you. By the way how are you feeling? See you on the water.
