was great tourney. small turn out. Lots of teams had a rare problem. We could not get small fish. Eyechsr and his partner caught eight fish on Sat and could only weight two as the were all over 24 inches. Also had the same problem on Sunday. they weighed four fish for 40 pounds. Davis winning weight was over 60 pounds. The average weight per FISH was about 5 pounds. Fun part was most people were in one of three spots and people that got one or two fish were right beside the winners doing the same thing... A testament to Davis who was long over due. Rumor has it he has about ten second places finishes he finally got to first. Congrats Mike

That was one FUN tournament!! you really missed the fishing weekend of a lifetime last weekend Oly, when you can weigh only 4 fish and average 10.37lbs its a great weekend, never thought even on the lower river I would envy the guys catching small fish, of coarse the looks on their faces when you throw back 8lb fish are priceless. Hope to see you there next year.

Way to go guys! Man, it sounds like I screwed up by not making it down. I think I need to go this weekend and the next and the next. I will be there next year you can count on it. I've got the blue Jetcraft sled with a 115 Yam. and 8 Yam. kicker. If you see me down there come over and say hi. I'd like to meet you guys.

Oly, we would love to meet you. I try to make it a point to meet other WC memebers in Washington. I live in Lake Stevens and fish all the WA and OR circuits. (Do poorly but learn and have fun). cfwalleye and myself both go through Oly to Portland alot and would like to meet you. If all else fails I guest we will meet you at Potholes tourney in 2004. I am black guy with minature poodle in blue and silver 1700 lund fisherman. FYI, the guys in Portland are great will put you up for a few nights and tell you everything they know about the area. Problem is the river changes about every two years. IF you are available at Christmas time I would say the best move you could make is going to the Portland Walleye Club potluck. I have had four tournament partners from that club and they are a pleasure to fish with. Most important they welcome all walleye brothern and will do what ever it takes to put you on fish.

I'm glad to see the Warila's placed again, went to school with Jeff. Does anyone know if Conradi's where there or not? Some of you guys might remember me at Banks tourney last year, I had the wife as a partner in a 1675 lund prosport. I did live at Grand Coulee, now I'm lost in Idaho. I'm looking for tourney's in Idaho, any info. I have been hearing something about salmon fall res. Who should I contact? That Camas tourney sounds like a kick in the bbutt. I grew up in Kalama, and that is so close to my old stomping grounds. Congrats to the winners and anyone else with a ten pounder.

Gary is in Alaska get back on or around the 1st. Warila's actually used his boat. Jeff's is back at manufacturer getting fixed again. I went to wedding in Pocatello two years ago talked to alot of fiherman in Idaho. You guessed it there is only one spot that has them. So I do not think there is tourney in Idaho. Feel free to come back I am sure if you want to fish Camas next year we can find you a partner... I am the black guy with the boston whaler at banks last year. Now have Lund fisherman. There always seem to be shortage of touenament guys. Email me and I can give you some startup sites for walleye in WA and OR where you can post and get info for partners and tournaments. Keep in touch, Brian

Thanks Brian, I'm one of those guys with the partner for life, kind of deal. Once she (DeeDee) caught the 11 lber, I can't lose her. Now it's, if you want to win this, you better use the orange and green, with the silver blade. I'm the guy going, but but but, honey. Well she did catch a bigger one then me. One day I will show her. Thanks Cal, Brian. I'll keep an "eye" out for you guys when I go. I too have a permanent fishing partner... my bride of 20+ years. I took her walleye fishing on the Columbia about 12 yrs. ago when we lived down in Central Point, Or. haven't been able to shake her since. She is a GOOD fisherWOMAN. We started fishing tourneys last year at Mar-Don and have done pretty well. No money yet but that will change, proved it this year that we can fish with the "big boys". I haven't fished too much down around Camas/Washougal but it has a good rep. I've done most of my river fishing from Rufus on up. If you can help me with any good spots to start out that would be great. I've fished Ough Reef and around Lady Island but that's about it. Send me an e - mail. Thanks again guys. Mark

Was up there on Sunday for a little while... The kids wanted to go boating more than fish that day. I may have to get into that tourney next year as well. I'll need a partner though.
Oly your going to have to give me a few more pointers on fishing these eyes.

Got a fence to build, and with you knowing what you are doing with that sort of thing, could help me out maybe? Not too much going on down here otherwise. Give me a heads up and remember I Fridays off... I really want to get to know this area, it's too darn close to my house not to.
