I been praying all spring for it to be a good hatch. We really need one. Hopefully we get a descent hatch next year and we should be in great shape for the next 4 years.
Good Luck and pray for it to be true!!

This is great news, but so is the number of small eyes being caught at the central basin. The 14-18" class right now is not like I have seen in five years or more.
One has wonder what made for such a great hatch as this spring was just furious for bird and -I thought eye hatching-lots of big waves and mud. Mother nature sure has it's ways and I am glad to here of the success.
What a great time for the new size/limit regulations in PA to come into affect with this hatch. I just want to fish numbers and be able to fish Erie until I go to my reward.
We will do our part and Canada will just have to be - well Librally Canada. Remember, they opened their doors to the enemy and still do while our rroops are in Iraq-to say the least.

They may be open due to our economy and constitution. BUt, we so not INVITE the enemy to swim within our waters.
GB&GBUSA,
I would love to comment about the differences between canada and the U.S., but this is the strickly fishing board so lets keep it that way. Great news on the hatch, only time will tell how good of a report.
