D'oh!!

Number one son took a crayon to the bac of the passenger seat in the truck today! My question, does anyone know anything that will remove the crayon and not the fabric or color from the fabric?

Thanks

Ouch,

We have used Goo Gone (small bottle not large spray bottle), and have had good success. Our #1 had crayons in her pants pockets that went through the dryer, and on to everything.

Remember to tell him you love him tonight!

Thanks for the tip. I use goo gon for several different things, but was afraid it may take out the fuzz on the back ofthe chair. (Chevy seat back fabric)And yes I just hugged the boy and sent him off to bed. I dint flip my stack at him. I wasnt really that mad at him, just disapointed. He knows better and he knows I know it.

Try Imperial cleaner. It takes crayon off walls, and I have used it to clean vehicle floors, seats, etc. without affecting upholstery color.

Where is Imperial Cleaner found? Is it a spray? A Foam?

Where does one come across a small amount of dry cleaning solvent?

I do realize it is probably a very small thin colored layer but for wax and meted crayons in carpet or other fabric you can get the most of it out with a old cotton towel and an iron. The idea is to cover the affected area with the towel and melt the wax and absorb it with the cloth. This will remove most of the wax and the little that is left I would follow what everyone else says to do.
I have done this on both crayon and candlewax in a carpet and it cleans it up so you don't know it is even there.
Hope this helps

I bought my last can at either Wal Mart or Lowes, not sure which. It is a liquid and comes in a 1 quart can. It is a "Cleaner and Spot Remover". It will get the crayon out.
