Hi Guys: Based upon my fishing results this summer, I have found that my catch rate increased using "stealth" tactics with Dipsy Divers. I painted over some of the attractor colors. The black painted ones caught more fish for me but the paint comes off. So, I would like to find a source for Dipsies in black, clear, and glow in sizes 1 and 0. Also would like to find replacement rings in black. Cabelas and Gander have random colors.
What are your experiences with various colors? I did a search for black dipsies and found that a couple guys think it helps.
Thanks and good fishing, O F

You can buy them direct from Luhr-Jensen at www.luhrjensen.com/ or 1-800-535-1711. The people that work there are very friendly.

I saw a good supply of clear ones at Gander Mt. last night. Clear is the only color I run.

I've had my best days using black and the glow Dipsys
Denny Braun at the Sportsmans Outpost got a six pack of black dipsys in for for me last week. Call him at 1-888-855-9032 I believe he will ship them if you live too far from Vermilion to pick them up and his pricing is good. Gander had them on sale here in Canton last week 35% off and they are sold out as of today.
I like the black, clear and kelly green colors. (in that order) Never tried the glow, whats the angle on that?

Thanks for the help on finding the DD's in the desired colors. I called Den and he is out. Called every GMtn and Dicks - all out. Found that Cabelas does in fact have clear but no glow or black. So took the easy way out and ordered from them.
In the meantime, meaning this weekend if weather permits on Lake Erie I will be using some "stealth" divers that I made by using two coats of primer and then two coats of olive drab paint. They look like army divers, but hopefully will work well.
Anyone know how far back to run DD's in 14 foot waves? Ha
Thanks again, O F
