spoons vs. crawlerharnes

have tried worthern king nkmag.spoons for years.
but not much luck the past couple yrs. switched to harnesses with not much luck, does color of harness have a lot to do with it? how about line color and pound test? troll dipseys and down riggers and planerboards. please help!!!

Color has alot to do with it.My fishing partner and I fish alot with crawler harness's.When we start trolling we will both put on a different color and keep changing colors every so often until we find the one they like .Some times the blade style will make a difference.I preffer the double indiana blade but my friend likes the willow leaf style.but we both carry plenty of each because it the eye's choice that really makes a difference.I had fish that were hitting one color go cold then I changed and had the action pick right back up.Hope this has been some help Stump
