cold water survival suits

Fella's after asking about the new guidewear outfits some of the replys got me thinking about maybe investing in a cold water survival suit. Fishing alone at night this time of year I do not see another boat most night's. If I were to go over the side the cold water would most likley be my death.So I want to ask what suit would offer protection from the cold water. And if you have a link to where it may be bought.Thank's for any help.

I go with stonehead2. The mustang is US coastguard Type IV approved. Warm as toast. I bought mine at Landfall also.

Alright fella's I'm convinced that the mustang suit is what I need. I will be going with the coverall's.That guidewear will have to wait I guess. Going to just check on prices and order soon.I like the fact that they claim "survival up to three hours" in 40 degree water with the suit.Too bad they don't have stout sizes but hey i'm used to it(the way too long inseam)by now !Do the walleye like the bright red ? :-)

Good choice, the Guidewear is great in the summer but for this time of the year the Mustang stuff is king...

I bought the Buoy O Buoy survival suit in canada at peters tackle in St Catherines
it is a great suit and canadian coast guard and american coast guard approved
very warm I only wear a pair of joggin pants and a sweatshirt under mine and stay warm as toast all day

the price was 170.00 american funds
