Crestliner 2050 SportFish with a 225 hp Evinrude, Genises 74AP up front and Vantage 74 on the back. Lakes are drying up and little water in the reservoirs but I'll take my chances. It's gonna rain in Alberta any day now.

Just went to boat show. Am retired now. Have a 16ft Starcraft 24 years old 70hp Johnson, and a 16ft Hewscraft with 90 hp Johnson/jet 12 years old. I did'nt know how precious those boats are until after seeing nothing under 20,000 plus. Prices wil prompt me to take really good care of what I have.

Bought a Javelin 21 MSX w/ an F225 Yamaha. Dual console, 101 lb thrust saltwater minnkota (for stripers), galvenized trailer. I can't wait! Turns out my buddy liked the boat so much he ordered an identical one from the same dealer.

Mike,
I am looking at the same boat. Looks like a great boat but I am not sure I like the seat pedistals that go down into the floor. I can see they did it to get you lower while motoring but it seems to me they do not go high enough to be comfortable fishing all day. Was this any concern to you or am I knit picking??

Whats the price tag on that Lund 2025 with all the bells and whistles?

Heck,
I had to sell my 93 Tracker because I couldn't affod the property taxes on the thing. A new boat costing $20,000 would cost me roughly $1200.00 a year. I can't afford that. I'll buy a new one when I move from Kansas.

Long time Lund fans here, great boats built to last.
I am looking hard at the River Pro line as possibly my next boat.
A new concept in hull design as well as propulsion applications that fit my needs well. I hear great things from folks who have been running them.
Maybe it is not a boat for all waters? Although it certainly will fit the waters I fish very well.
A interesting new rig for sure.

I didnt really look at them but if you dont like them you can always change to another system. I might have more input next week when I get home.
Good fishing!

Lund Mr. Pike dual console with a 115 4 stroke Yammy and a custom Eagle trailer. Still have a 95 Starcraft Tourneyfish 17 which will be going up for sale this spring. I know Starcraft builds an excellent quality boat but did'nt have the layout I preferred so I bought a Lund. Hope it is equal to or better than my Starcraft. Think spring!
