View Full Version : HH grubs
I got several gruvbs a fewyears ago of unknown origin, and the only clue I have as to how I might get more is the fact that they had the letters HH written small on them at the tail. Anybody have any idea who makes them?

There used to be a plactics pour company located somewhere around Silom Springs, Ark. that poured plastics for a variety of other manuf's and their company name was H&H. They had a wide selection of plastics out under their own brand name as well but they were not real widespread known. I've still got some contacts that may know more about them and if they are still in business etc. Whatever I can find out for you in the next week or so I'll be happy to post it here or send you an email or both. Give me a little time and I'll see if I can help!

Thanks. These grubs were all two toned, silver and blue. I think it's the thick, fat tail that does it with these. They catch bigger fish, and work great for northerns too. Would love to get my hands on more. I check in here often so if you reply here I'll see it :).

What size grub were you using? 2", 3", 4"?? When you say two toned, is it a laminated two toned, metal flaked or what? Will give me an idea of what your looking for for sure. If you want, drop me an email as well. Thanks!

The ones I used were probably 3", and they were a solid opaque silver/grey with blue 'sprayed' on half of it. They did come in smaller sizes too.The HH was part of the mold I guess and was in relief at the bottom of the auger tail, near the body of the grub. The tail was stiffer and thicker than say a berkley power grub. Hope this gives you a better mental picture. I'd e-mail, but it seems my account no longer exists here as I always just visit as a guest. I appreciate the help :).

Ok, so far this is all I've been able to come up with, and being on the PC at work am un-able to use the same search engines I have at the house. I've got an address but no phone # for H&H Lure Co for you, and maybe you can try information on the landline to get a phone # for them. Address is:
H&H Lure Co.
10874 North Dual
Baton Rouge, LA 70814
Hope this helps some, and will do some more searching with a couple of tackle dealers and wholesalers to see what I can find for you.
