Handheld, waterproof, Marine Radio models

I checked the archives and didn't find much information on which models WC buffs prefer for handheld, waterproof, marine radios. Can you please make recommendations to me? What about the models offered by Cabela's, BPS, Radio Shack? Thanks for your help.

I have an old Midland that I have used as a backup. It has been wet, stepped on, and dropped, and she is still working. I guess that would make this one, a good one. If I were going to buy a new one, it think it would be the Uniden Atlantis, it is waterproof and it has a reasonable price...$109.99 (at Cabelas) I don't think they sell the Midlands any more.
