Ice Loks ?

Just got Ice Loks for my shanty and I'm not sure how cord is supposed to be rigged. They come packaged with cord threaded up and down thru hinges. Is it supposed to be attached this way or is cord supposed to be thru 2 holes in handle (non-spiked end) of T? If not, what are those 2 hole's purpose? The directions are vague and pictures of them in use are too small to tell for sure. Just need to know how to properly thread the cords. Thanks.

Found the answer to my own question by contacting Strikemaster. The Ice Loks are to be used just as the are rigged. I guess the 2 holes in the "handle" portion are to use to hang around your neck when being carried for use ase ice pick safety equipment. Thanks.
