Well, I finally found the deal that deliverd a new (used) truck this weekend.

2000 Ford F250 SD Crewcab. Although it was not exacly what I wanted, I could not pass up the deal, either. Was lookin to find a little bigger motor and the limited slip rear, but these were not required. The guys at Suburban Chev put together a deal that was too hard to beat, obviously. She's a beaut & I'll get a picture on here shortly.

Sorry, Dave, my true colors came out. I am now a "Ford" guy. ;-) JUST kidding.....

Welcome to the Ford family. I too got smart about 2 years ago and ditched Chevy. Although my old Chevy 1500 extended cab truck was the best car I have ever owned.

I have a 2000 Crew, 7.3, limited slip, 4 inch lift, 35's, Xenon flares, K&N, etc..... best truck I ever drove and I have owned or driven all models.

You will enjoy it.

But before you throw in the towel on the Chevy's, know this: They have more HP and better MPG then Fords in like trucks. If I could have found the right deal on a Chevy, I would have easily been a Bowtie instead of an Oval. Both are great rigs and I just got a much better deal on it and liked the look of the Ford.

A Dodge, now there is another story. (Just kidding.)

It's a FORD?!? I just want to be the first one to say I told you so. Right now. "You should've waited and got the Chevy."

This way whenever something happens down the road I can say.... I told you that Ford was gonna be trouble.

Just having some fun with ya. Hope the "new" ride goes good for ya. When I got my GMC 2 1/2 yrs. ago, I just went looking until I found the right deal. Preferred Chevy/GMC but kept an open mind and never found the right deal until this GMC. It could've been any make. I was looking more at the best mileage/money ratio. I drove a Ford before this one and had No problems other than normal maintainance. (Battery, belts, tranny, Timing chain/gear, Cam, tires, alternator, Etc.....lol) just kidding.

Yeah, ain't that the truth. LOL

However, all this talk about me and the DNR and people are going to think I really did do something wrong...I suppose I should lay off them for a while. ;-)

Hope your remaining winter is productive BFJ. By the way, it was a pleasure meeting you up on Mille Lacs.

Wishing for the open water...soooooon!
