I would like all the info I can get for drop shot fishing. I usally troll in 16' or less with a bottom bouncer and a made in the winter spinner. I would like to learn a different way of doing this that may produce more fish. I spend a month in Canada every year and I would like a new walleye challenge. Thanks

I have tried drop shotting for walleyes with leeches with good success. The lake I use it on has sporadic light weeds along the bottom that a Lindy rig keeps picking up. I set the hook 12-18 in above the drop weight and use it semi-vertical as I back troll. Usually get pretty solid hits as the wallys come up and grab the bait.
