I fish Lake Erie out of Toledo Beach (Luna Pier area) in Michigan. With the Michigan portion of the lake being closed in April and May,
I am looking for a map which shows the Michigan/Ohio border in the lake. I have done a search on the net and have come up empty. I was really disappointed that my Garmin 182C with bluechart didn't show the state borders. It has the Camp Perry firing range area and the international Canadian border very neatly outlined, but not the state borders. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Get a NOAA chart of the area.

That is weird that your garmin isn't showing the border. Because I have the same unit and mine shows it. I live straight across from you in oregon, ohio. You should pick up a chart or a hotspot map will show you the border.

I was just looking at my uniy. It shows the international border in pink dotted lines. The state line for ohio and michigan is a black dotted line. Also check to make sure you have the highest setting of detail turned on in the menu of the unit.

Thanks Fishman. I'll check it out.
I have a garmin with a g-chart, you can turn the border on and off with the menu. Good luck.

Wow...thats a bigger link than I thought. Oh well, if it don't work, just go to www.maptech.com Click on "on line" maps, type in Luna Pier, Mi, and then click on "nautical Chart". Use the red arrow keys to move where you want to go, and where ever you put the curser, it will give you the GPS coordinates.
You might have to change the map scale to 1:40,000 to actually see the MI/OH border line.
Good luck,
Captain Jay
