I am not familar with that type of shanty. I have a different brand but lost my center brace support, all I did was made one out of pvc with a coupler glued to only one half so the other half would simply slide into it. I hope this helps.

I would just make one out of 2 pieces of conduit and a sleeve.

Don't know what the Viking 300 looks like but if it has the telescoping conduit with the plastic clips on the ends you should be able to pick one up at your local shack dealer. I bought extra crossbraces to help keep the walls from blowing in. I paid about 12.00 for them.
