Does anyone have any info on where I can find camping facilities on the Eau Plain Res. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

There is a park and campsite at the boat landing. You aren't going there now are you?

SLIPKNOT,

We are going there in May. What is the name of the site? Do they have docks to keep your rig tied to. How is the fishing here?

Can you share any tips?

Thanks a bunch

It is marathon county park. In order to make reservations you must call marathon county parks dept. in Wausau. The fishing is good there, but most of the fish are small.

If you are going to Wausau in early May, try spending a day in Lake Wausau ... the extreme west end by what used to be the big curve on hiway "O" (and still may be for all I know). That area used to have tremendouse numbers of northern pike that would hang there post-spawn and feed on the other stuff that came in to spawn later. It is very shallow and I fished it out of the only boat that I had at the time ... a 14 foot flat bottom. But the fishing was great.

Look for the stumps by the curve on Hiway "O". Typical Wisconsin beer bars on the left, water on the right.
